There has been a village Shop & Post Office in Toft for many years, and it has always been the hub of this special little village.

Ingrid van Rooyen and her family moved from Johannesburg, South Africa and arrived in Toft in 2000. With 3 generations and an extended family living locally, the family has a strong identity with the village.

As well as the usual cornucopia of goods found in a traditional Village Shop and Post Office, Toft Shop stocks a variety of local East Anglian goodies and local specialities - cakes, preserves and jams.

To cater to the South African ex-pats in the area, I stock a wide range of
"Foodie Memories from Home".
Quality imported South African food is available at this little Cambridge shop, and the range includes old favourites as well as new products.

We are pleased to say that there are also  adventurous locals willing to try a
flavour of Africa!
